The ideal candidate will have experience managing litigation matters from inception through resolution, including motion practice, court appearances, client counseling, and legal research and writing. • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and develop case strategies.

  • Manage cases through all phases of the litigation process.

  • Represent clients during court appearances, hearings, and conferences.

  • Maintain regular client communication and provide legal guidance throughout matters.

  • Develop and execute effective litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.

  • Negotiate settlements and resolutions of legal disputes.

  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

  • Assist with the supervision and coordination of legal support personnel as needed.

  • Travel locally for court appearances and client-related matters.

Required Qualifications

  • Active New York Bar admission in good standing.

  • 2+ years of litigation experience handling contested legal matters.

  • Strong experience with motion practice, legal writing, and court appearances.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in foreclosure defense, bankruptcy law, real estate litigation, or landlord-tenant law.

  • Admission to practice in Federal Court.

  • Experience appearing at creditors' meetings.

  • Prior experience supervising or coordinating legal support staff.

What Our Client Offers
  • Competitive compensation based on experience.

  • Comprehensive benefits package.

  • Direct exposure to clients and courtroom litigation.
