LEARNING, DEVELOPMENT & QUALITY MANAGER
Luxury Resort • Big Sky, Montana • USD $100,000, flexible based on experience • Relocation allowance, housing allowance
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Learning, Development and Quality Manager for a luxury resort in Big Sky, Montana. This is a senior culture-shaping role for someone who brings equal passion to building people capability and driving operational excellence. The successful candidate will lead the resort's learning strategy, quality improvement programs, and service standards, partnering with leaders at every level to embed a high-performance, guest-first culture.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead the full Learning and Development function, including training needs analysis, program design, delivery, and effectiveness measurement
  • Champion quality management across the resort, overseeing continuous improvement initiatives, operational audits, and service standards compliance
  • Act as a strategic partner to the HR Director, General Manager, and Executive Committee on talent, engagement, and organizational effectiveness
  • Identify capability gaps across departments and develop targeted programs that strengthen performance and support succession planning
  • Monitor and analyse guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and quality performance data to inform strategy and report to leadership
  • Develop and manage the L&D and Quality budget, measuring return on investment and business impact
  • Build internal training capability by developing departmental trainers and maintaining a strong resource library
  • Design and implement recognition programs that reinforce a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Learning and Development, Quality Management, or Organizational Development
  • Previous management experience within a luxury hospitality environment
  • Demonstrated ability to design and facilitate leadership development programs and drive organizational change
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using quality performance data to influence decisions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems
  • A collaborative, influential communicator who can engage and inspire leaders at all levels
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
