Operations Analyst 2
The Operations Analyst 2 is a key member of the operations team; supporting and managing process development and system implementations.
This position offers a unique opportunity with exposure to all aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will have at minimum, 3 years Analyst experience, demonstrates drive for personal success, and has the functional aptitude to learn new responsibilities with proficiency. This is a hybrid opportunity, located at our Conshohocken, PA Home Office.
Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage assigned operational processes, reconciliations, and recurring compliance activities.
  • Independently process and oversee policy lifecycle activity across assigned programs, including issuance, endorsements, cancellations, and audits.
  • Support surplus lines filings, billing corrections, and regulatory support functions, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Own recurring reconciliation processes (production, carrier, billing, surplus lines, commissions) and drive resolution of variances.
  • Analyze existing workflows for new programs and acquired entities and participate in system fit, integration, and operational readiness assessments.
  • Gather, document, and maintain business and system requirements related to mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and new program implementations.
  • Participate in the setup, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of data feeds, reconciliations, and operational reporting, including report development and cadence definition.
  • Troubleshoot data, reconciliation, and integration issues and coordinate resolution with internal partners and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting and issue triage within operational systems (e.g., IMS/NetRate, QuickSolver, C1, ALIS/AMS360, CRM).
  • Execute and support carrier audit and market conduct requests, including data pulls, responses, and documentation.
  • Draft, maintain, and update operational process documentation, SOPs, and workflow guides for assigned functions.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of release notes related to system enhancements, integrations, and process changes.
  • Support UAT validation activities and confirm documentation readiness prior to production releases.
  • Contribute to operations projects and initiatives, independently managing assigned components.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process, control, or documentation improvements.
  • Support and guide junior analysts performing ongoing operational and reconciliation tasks.
  • Provide training and day-to-day functional guidance to Operations Analyst I staff.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • Minimum of 3yrs Operations Analyst experience (or similar insurance analyst experience).
  • Property and Casualty Insurance experience, highly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently.
  • Articulate and well-spoken; strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required.
