An inside sales agent works with a company to manage prospective buyer leads and generate business for the company. Your responsibilities as an inside sales agent focus on contacting customer leads with a follow-up phone call after they fill out a form inquiring about more information on a product or service. You also take inbound phone calls to answer questions about a product or service. Your duties also include setting appointments with leads, keeping in contact with customers to stay updated about their buying decision, and maintaining a relationship with your customer base after they buy. You commonly find these positions in the real estate industry.

Inside Sales Agents are common in industries like real estate, technology, and business services, where much of the sales process can be handled without face-to-face meetings. They play a key role in generating revenue by nurturing prospects and maintaining customer relationships.

Inside Sales Agent

Airrack

Los Angeles, CA

$50 - $60K/hr

Full-time

Re-posted 15 days ago

Job description

ABOUT AIRRACK

Airrack is a tight-knit team that pulls off ambitious, innovative YouTube videos that get millions of views. We're creative, gritty, and passionate about making content no one else dares to. We work hard, have a great time doing it, and we're always pushing to see how far digital storytelling can go.

THE ROLE

We need an Inside Sales Agent who can get us into places and situations that seem impossible. You'll take an incredibly long list of contacts from our team and work cold calls, cold emails, and LinkedIn outreach until you get multiple yeses. Think: convincing a cruise line to let us film on their ship, getting access to a location that doesn't normally allow cameras, or locking down a vendor who's never worked with a YouTube creator before. You're the person who opens doors that nobody else can.
HOW TO APPLY

Watch this video to learn more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGc3YPeRmao

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Take contact lists built by our VAs and work through them via phone, email, and LinkedIn until you get yeses on locations, vendors, talent, and access.
  • Pitch Airrack and our video concepts to people who've never heard of us and get them excited to work with us.
  • Handle objections, negotiate terms, and close access deals for upcoming video concepts.
  • Work across multiple video concepts simultaneously, some of which are 3-6 months out.
  • Pass locked options and confirmed yeses to the Junior Producer for production planning.
  • Track all outreach, follow-ups, and status in a shared system so nothing falls through the cracks.

Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience as an Inside Sales Agent, SDR, BDR, or similar cold outreach role. You've made 50+ calls in a day and it doesn't faze you.
  • You're great on the phone. You can talk to anyone, pitch anything, and handle rejection without losing momentum.
  • You follow up relentlessly. If someone doesn't respond, you find another way in.
  • You want to work in content and entertainment. This is your way in.
  • Self-directed. You don't need someone checking in on you every day to make sure the work is getting done.

BONUS POINTS

  • You watch YouTube and understand why someone would want to be part of a video like this.
  • Experience with Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar outreach tools.

Benefits

Salary: $50-$60k DOE with performance bonuses available.

WHY JOIN US

  • Work with an awesome group of talented, passionate people who actually enjoy what they do.
  • Flexible hours and in-office arrangement. We care about results, not when you're online.
  • Room to grow into a full production role if that's where you want to go.
  • Bonus incentives galore. The sky is the limit for your total compensation.
