Role Overview:
The National Inside Sales & Accounts Manager is a dynamic and results-driven sales leader responsible for managing the team of Inside Sales and Customer Service Representatives across the company while overseeing strategic relationships with key national accounts. This role is critical to driving revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency as they will provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and accountability for the Inside Sales organization. Duties may vary to include some or all of the following job responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Inside Sales and Customer Service Representatives across the company.
• Set clear team goals, sales activity expectations, and performance standards aligned with company KPIs.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and team meetings while providing ongoing coaching and developmental feedback.
• Track and communicate team performance against established KPIs and take corrective action when performance falls below expectations.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
• Partner with HR on recruiting, onboarding, and training initiatives.
National Accounts & Customer Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for select national accounts, ensuring a high level of responsiveness, accuracy, and consistent communication.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer decision-makers and identify opportunities to expand existing business.
• Coordinate with outside sales, supply chain, operations, and executive leadership to meet customer needs.
• Handle contract renewals, pricing updates, forecasting, and reporting for national accounts.
Lead Generation & Outbound Sales Strategy
• Establish and maintain a consistent sales cadence to ensure the team is actively prospecting, following up with customers, and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Monitor lead-generation results and conversion activity, using data and performance metrics to continuously improve our sales strategy.
• Develop and implement structured cold-call, email, and follow-up strategies to increase prospect engagement.
• Utilize CRM, ProSales, ERP, and other sales tools to identify inactive customers, prospective accounts, and areas for revenue growth.
• Work closely with VP of Sales & Marketing to align lead-generation activities with broader company growth initiatives.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education/Experience and Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Equivalent in experience taken into consideration.
• 5-6 years customer service or inside sales experience required.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel) and PDF software.
• Knowledge working within Syspro or other ERP/CRM system.
• Knowledge of tire and wheel industry desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong organization, time management and attention to details.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
• Primarily office based work with occasional travel to other company locations as necessary.
• Must be able to frequently use hands and talk or to hear.
• Must be able to occasionally stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
• The noise level in the work environment is minimal.
