A manufacturing and distribution company in SE Houston is seeking a Inside Sales Assistant to support the sales team in order processing, order tracking, and customer service.


Salary + Additional Benefits:

  • $25.00-$26.00/hr

Location: SE Houston, TX – fully onsite

Type of Position: Temp to Hire


Responsibilities:

  • Enter and follow up on returns, credits, and open orders
  • Process orders end-to-end: entry, shipping, invoicing, customer inquiries (tracking, returns, issues)
  • Enter and follow up on returns, credits, and open orders
  • Cross reference and enter quotes and orders according to customer needs.
  • Call around to buy out products needed to fulfill customer orders.
  • Distribute tracking information and key documents when requested.
  • Expedite hot orders in a timely manner.
  • Support the sales team with consistent communication and follow-up.


Requirements:

  • Highschool degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Sales Assistant in an industrial environment
  • PVF experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Strong MS Office knowledge
