Paralegal
Thomasville, GA | $18.00 - $25.00 / Hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to support the elgal and compliance operations of a local insurance company. This role will assist with regulatory compliance, contract management, audits, corporate recordkeeping, and coordination with outside counsel on claims and legal matters. The ideal candidate will work closely with Compliance, HR, Operations, and Leadership while managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Support compliance with state insurance regulations, DOI filings, licensing, and renewals
  • Assist with audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance tracking
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts (agent agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs)
  • Maintain corporate records, governance documents, and compliance calendars
  • Coordinate with counsel on claims, complaints, and litigation matters
  • Partner cross-functionally with Compliance, HR, Operations, and Leadership
Requirements
  • Paralegal Certificate or Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in life insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry
  • Strong knowledge of insurance compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Willing to undergo criminal background check
  • Clean drug screen
Location: Thomasville, Georgia
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $25.00 / Hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM
