The HR Operations Manager will have primary responsibility for the administration, optimization and operational enablement of core HR platforms, including UKG Ready, across the employee lifecycle.
Reporting to the Senior Director of HR, the HR Operations Manager will partner with HR administration, benefits, payroll to ensure compliant, scalable, effective and efficient procedures across the employee lifecycle while supporting a positive employee experience.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, systems-oriented, detail-driven, and experienced in HR operations within a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for UKG Ready, including system configuration, workflows, permissions, security roles, updates and troubleshooting.
  • Manage the day-to-day HRIS operations, including employee data governance, onboarding workflows, job changes, terminations, and other SLAs.
  • Maintain process documentation and governance standards to ensure consistency and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with HR and Payroll teams to ensure accurate employee records, reporting structures and data integrity across all HR processes.
  • Support system configuration, testing, upgrades, enhancements and release management activities within UKG Ready.
  • Ensure HR processes are scalable, well-documented and aligned with organizational policies and operational needs.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within UKG Ready to reduce manual work and improve service delivery.
  • Ensure HR operations and system processes support compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Generate and maintain HR reports and dashboards to support operational decision-making, workforce planning, and compliance tracking.
  • Built strong working relationships across internal departments and HR operations vendors.

  • Support ongoing HR operational initiatives and continuous improvement projects as the organization grows.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR Operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience administering HRIS.
  • Experience managing HR operations in a multi-site or fast-growing organization.
  • Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes, HR compliance, and HR data management.
  • Excellent management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
