Looking for Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN

Job Duties & Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

  • Personal Hygiene Support: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and skin care.
  • Mobility Assistance: Help with transfers (bed to chair), walking, and positioning to prevent pressure sores.
  • Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals, including specialized diets, and provide feeding assistance if required.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform essential household tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, and maintaining a clean environment in the client's primary living areas.
  • Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take their medications on time according to their physician's instructions.
  • Transportation & Errands: Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social outings (if authorized).
  • Observation & Reporting: Monitor the client’s physical and emotional status and report any significant changes to the supervisor or family members.
  • Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversation, activities, and hobbies to promote mental and emotional well-being.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certification: Completion of a PCA competency exam or a current Georgia CNA license.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills and a deep level of empathy for the elderly and disabled population.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with client transfers.
  • Compliance:
    • Must pass a comprehensive Georgia criminal background check.
    • Current TB clearance (PPD skin test or chest X-ray).
    • Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Transportation: Valid Driver’s License, active auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
