Job description

Caregiver supervisors provide services to individuals in their own homes, who need assistance caring for themselves because of old age, sickness, disability and/or other afflictions. In addition, supervisors oversee other caregivers and are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with Graceful Aging Home Care's policies and industry standards. Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage provided. Paid holidays.
Job Duties:
  • Ensure agency polices/procedures and industry standards/regulations are followed.
  • Assist with scheduling.
  • Conduct new client assessments.
  • Train newly hired staff.
  • Conduct caregiver performance reviews.
  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring of new caregivers.
  • Provide leadership to caregivers.
  • Help resolve caregivers concerns and issues.
  • Cover client hours as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of managing employees.
  • Knowledge of personal care and home management skills.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal care services, including needs determinants, meeting quality standards and evaluation of client satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of the English language.
  • Knowledge of clerical procedures such as maintaining records and completing forms.

Qualifications/Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CNA required.
  • Minimum 5 years of home care experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience preferred but not required.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Proper vehicle insurance coverage.
