Job description

We are seeking a reliable, highly organized, and proactive Household Manager / Family Assistant to support the daily operations of a busy household. This role blends household management with after-school family support and is ideal for a self-starter who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and can adapt to changing schedules.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating structure, managing details, and keeping a household running smoothly.

  •  Monday–Thursday: 1:00 PM – 6:30/8:00 PM
  •  Friday: 11:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Household Management

  • Meal planning, grocery shopping, and preparing dinner
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Light housekeeping and home organization
  • Running errands, managing returns, and other misc. activities
  • Pool maintenance tasks (e.g., sweeping the pool)
  • Managing household inventory and supplies
  • Coordinating household vendors and service providers (housekeeper, trainers, seasonal vendors, etc.)
  • Assisting with party planning, holidays, and special events

Family & After-School Support

  • Transporting a school-aged child to and from school, practices, lessons, and appointments
  • Ensuring the child is fed, prepared, and on time for activities
  • Managing after-school routines and transitions
  • Remaining flexible with last-minute schedule changes due to school, coaches, or weather

Pet Care

  • Cleaning and maintaining the cat’s litter box
  • Ensuring pet food and treats are stocked
