Private Household Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a private residence or multiple properties. Their duties typically include supervising household staff, managing schedules, coordinating maintenance and repairs, handling budgets, and ensuring the home runs smoothly. They often act as the main point of contact between the household and outside vendors, and may also be responsible for event planning, travel arrangements, and personal shopping for the household members. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a private household manager?

To thrive as a Private Household Manager, you need strong organizational skills, experience in household operations, and often a background in hospitality or property management. • Someone who enjoys helping others and building trusted relationships

Schedule

Monday-Friday, generally 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $65,000-$75,000
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • PTO & paid holidays
  • Family vehicle for work-related errands

This is a rare opportunity to join a family looking for a true long-term partner. Their previous Household Manager remained with them for eight years, and they're hoping to build that kind of relationship again.

If you're looking for meaningful work where you'll be trusted, appreciated and able to make a real difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
