Job description

We are looking for a non-obtrusive, honest, reliable, experienced and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper/Cook to maintain a household and prepare organic, healthy, vegetarian lunch and dinner for a single Principal. The household consists of a single lady with no children or pets.
The residence is a four-story single-family home with an elevator and is the principal's primary residence. The principal travels for approximately three months during the summer. This is a year-round opportunity, and the housekeeper will continue maintaining the residence during the principal's absence.
Work Schedule - Hours: Monday - Friday 11-7 (with possibility of additional hours on Fridays in order to prepare pre-packed meals for the weekends and help pack/unpack if the principal is traveling).
Responsibilities:
Housekeeping
Deep cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, ironing, couture care and keeping the home organized. Preparing meals, keeping the kitchen clean and organized.
Cooking:
Planning weekly menus, grocery shopping for healthy organic produce and plant-based proteins and preparing daily lunch and dinner for a single Principal.
Household Management:
Managing kitchen and cleaning supplies, running occasional errands and working with the management team, maintenance personnel and vendors to be sure the home is running in a non-intrusive manner for the principal. Maintain the residence while the principal is traveling.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of high-end private household experience as a Housekeeper/Cook
• Ability to follow recipes and cook balanced, delicious meals with references available
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Positive professional references
