Household & Family Operations Manager

Part-Time (15–25 hours/week)
Flexible: 3–5 days per week
Location: Washington, Utah

About the Role

We are a high-performing, growth-focused family seeking a proactive Household & Family Operations Manager to help protect our time, reduce stress, and ensure our home runs smoothly and efficiently.

This role exists for one reason:

To eliminate friction in our daily lives and create calm, organized systems that allow us to focus on what matters most — family and meaningful work.

You will not just complete tasks.
You will own outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

Family & Child Support

  • Help prepare school bags, activity gear, and daily readiness

  • Support homework routines (as needed)

  • Schedule activities, and provide childcare

  • Assist during high-demand windows

Household Operations

  • Laundry management (wash, fold, organize), Dry Cleaning scheduling

  • Dishes and daily kitchen reset

  • Light household organization/cleanup

  • Manage grocery planning, ordering and small meal prep

  • Run errands (returns, pickups, supply restocking)

  • Coordinate with cleaners, contractors, vendors, and service providers

Scheduling & Planning

  • Maintain and update shared family calendar

  • Ensure zero missed appointments

  • Plan 1–2 weeks ahead for meals, events, and logistics

  • Prepare travel checklists and pre-trip organization

Systems & Optimization

  • Build and improve simple systems (meal planning, vendor tracking, chore rotations, etc.)

  • Identify inefficiencies and proactively improve them

  • Reduce unnecessary interruptions to parents during work hours

  • Think like an operator, not a task runner

What Success Looks Like

Within 90 days:

  • Household runs smoothly without constant oversight

  • Parents experience significantly fewer logistical interruptions

  • Calendar is accurate and proactively managed

  • Meals, groceries, and weekly flow are planned in advance

  • Home feels calm and organized

  • Systems are documented and repeatable
