Location: Beltsville/Konterra, MD Type: Full/Part Time Min. Experience: Entry Level Salary Range: $55,000-65,000 USD per year
Advanced Technology and Research Corporation www.atrcorp.com is seeking to fill the following permanent position on a full or part-time basis. ATR is an equal-opportunity company of 150-200 employees with a decades-long reputation in various engineering and product specialties for the US Department of Defense, US Postal Service and commercial customers.
Salary for the position is competitive and according to qualifications. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ATR has a current opening for an HR Associate to support growth in the Company and its HR functions. This new position, located at our Beltsville/Konterra, MD headquarters will primarily focus on engineering staff recruitment, but will also include a variety of other HR duties according to the skills and experience of the applicant. The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with the incumbent HR Manager. Expected duties include:
  • Preparation and management of online job postings and responses
  • Resume screening and coordination with internal customers
  • Scheduling and coordination of candidate interviews
  • Preparation of hiring documentation and participation in new hire on-boarding
  • Preparation of recruitment status reports
  • Handling employees' HR questions and requests for assistance
  • Participating in the preparation of Federal and State labor reports required for HR compliance
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in recruitment or other HR functions
  • Experience with software supporting HR functions; Deltek CostPoint ERP system knowledge is a plus
  • Prior experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment experience in the Federal Government environment is a plus
  • Working knowledge of the HR legal landscape is desirable
