Position Description This position supports Gateway USA Mission Center, Camp Woodland Hills, and the Midwest Crossroads Delegation for SPEC by managing all aspects of bookkeeping, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Employer Yes, this position is eligible for remote work in the USA. Remote Location United States Education Requirements High School or GED Experience Required/Desired Experience with bookkeeping responsibilities Employment Status Less than 20 hours/week Summary of Position This position provides support to Gateway USA Mission Center, Camp Woodland Hills, and Midwest Crossroads Delegation for SPEC in all aspects of bookkeeping including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Essential Functions Provides support to Mission Center Financial Officer (MCFO) Team, and Camp Woodland Hills Board Treasurer and SPEC Midwest Crossroads Delegation Leader. General Ledger maintenance and accounts payable/receivable. Assists with contributions processing.

Receives, records, and deposits funds. Provides various reports to MCFO, Camp Woodland Hills Board Treasurer, and SPEC Delegation Leader. Interacts with Congregation Financial Officers in receiving pledges and campership funds.

Performs all duties in alignment with approved internal controls. Understanding of financial accounting principles. Intermediate Windows computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn new computer programs.

Excellent organization, verbal and written communication skills. Proficient at emailing and managing/organizing email. Ability to work with multiple people, projects and priorities.

Proven ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with both internal and external audiences. Desired Competencies/Skills Ability to work with event registration.

Applications experience working with the Shelby accounting software system. Experience with Adobe Pro.
