Salary:

Orion Security Solutions is seeking an experienced Account Executive to assist business development in the Dallas, Texas area. This role will be a full-time position based in Texas but will operate regionally.

General Responsibilities


The Account Executive position is responsible for creating and maintaining customer relationships to uncover customer needs and potential sales opportunities. Once opportunities have been developed, the Account Executive will work with the Design Engineer to define and refine customer criteria, document/clarify customer needs and ensure accuracy in the design for proposal preparation if needed. The Account Executive position, as well as the Design Engineer position, will be supported by the Director of Sales.


Essential Tasks


  • Meet and/or exceed sales quotas as set by OSS Management.
  • Consistently meet weekly new contact objectives.
  • Document all customer contacts within the CRM system.
  • Manage each opportunity through the sales process to closure.
  • Bring in resource partners to satisfy customer needs both internal to OSS and External partners.
  • Meet customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Maintain organized documentation of all sales efforts.


Specific Responsibilities


  • Initiate - and document within the CRM software a minimum of 20 unique prospecting calls.
  • Document and follow up a minimum of 10 calls from previous contacts.
  • Initiate a minimum of 2 customer meetings per day.
  • Discuss with management issues as they arise before they become problems.
  • Contact OSS business partners as needed and maintain internal relationships.
  • Professionally attired during all customer face-to-face interactions.
  • Read product literature and take online training classes to better learn the product lines.
  • Maintain social networking settings to initiate followers and educate potential customers.
  • Keep detailed records of mileage and expenses to be submitted at the end of every week.


Qualifications


  • 3 or more years of proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role.
  • Background in technical security, access control, networking or a similar field is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation.
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and CRM software is a plus.
  • Demonstrate business acumen and a deep understanding of business sales processes.
