Job Summary
As a Banquet Houseperson, you play a vital role in ensuring the smooth setup, maintenance, and breakdown of banquet functions. You will assist the banquet team by preparing event spaces to meet the highest standards of presentation and functionality. Whether setting up tables, chairs, linens, or other equipment, your attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction will enhance each event's success.
What You'll Do
  • Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas, ensuring supplies are readily available.
  • Work closely with banquet staff to ensure timely execution of setups, breakdowns, and resets between events.
  • Assist with moving and arranging audio/visual equipment as needed for various functions.
  • Respond to guest requests during events to provide exceptional service and meet their needs.
  • Communicate with the banquet team and management to address any event-related issues or special requests.
  • Ensure that banquet spaces are clean, organized, and ready for the next event immediately after a function.
  • Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures when lifting or moving heavy objects and setting up equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the banquet department and overall hotel operations.
