Chantilly, VA TENICA is looking to hire an Event Planner. Must have TS/SCI CI Poly Responsibilities: * Coordinate all logistics for conferences.
* Coordinate with graphics on design theme for bio books, mementos, posters, signs, name badges, etc.
* Coordinate the scheduling of high-level government officials to speak at the conference.
* Coordinate with security and other facility personnel for number of attendees. clearance level of speakers and meeting, and any special requirements.
* Arrange accommodations at hotels for senior staff traveling to the meeting, negotiate low rates. and arrange for business dinners.
* Support special programs working between industry and Government in the Research and Development areas.
* Coordinate closely with the government sponsor on meeting requirements (facility, speakers, and logistics).
* Coordinate the planning for on-line registration website(s) for conferences.
* Coordinate, manage; and organize speakers, exhibits, and catering.
