Dispatch Supervisor

Department: Fleet Operations
Location: Fort Myers, FL | Status: Onsite

Lead Real-Time Operations That Keep Healthcare Moving

LeeSar and Cooperative Services of Florida (CSF) are seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to lead daily dispatch operations supporting critical healthcare delivery services across Southwest Florida.

This role is ideal for a strong frontline leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and excels at real-time decision-making. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and on-time transportation services across multiple service lines, including Courier, Pharmacy, EMS, and Distribution.

What You’ll Do

Dispatch Operations Leadership

  • Oversee daily dispatch activities, ensuring proper driver coverage for scheduled routes, on-demand requests, and emergency services
  • Monitor real-time operations using GPS and fleet systems to address delays, route changes, and service disruptions
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for dispatch-related issues during assigned shifts
  • Coordinate driver assignments to maximize productivity and service reliability

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to DOT, OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies
  • Conduct safety briefings and reinforce standard operating procedures
  • Monitor driver performance, attendance, and compliance; provide coaching as needed
  • Support investigations of accidents, incidents, and service disruptions

Leadership & Team Development

  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and mentoring dispatch staff and drivers
  • Provide real-time coaching and operational guidance
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Escalate operational risks and staffing concerns to leadership

Operational Coordination & Performance

  • Collaborate with internal departments including Pharmacy, EMS, Culinary, and Distribution
  • Maintain accurate dispatch records and performance reports
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and improve service levels
  • Support implementation of process improvements and technology enhancements

What You Bring

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in dispatch, logistics, fleet, or transportation operations
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Preferred:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or time-sensitive delivery environments
