About the Job
As Dispatch Supervisor, you'll support the Dispatch Department and lead a team of drivers who keep our events running on time. You'll make sure product is loaded and unloaded correctly, keep drivers on track, and be the steady hand that keeps deliveries moving even when the day gets unpredictable.
What You'll Do
  • Support the Dispatch Manager across drivers, routes, vehicle utilization, and maintenance
  • Communicate delays and route changes proactively
  • Stay in constant contact with drivers, including dispatching emergency response when needed
  • Maintain and review billing and operations records; catch errors and compliance issues early
  • Evaluate dispatch and distribution performance, and recommend improvements to shift, department, and facility operations
  • Ensure product handling and delivery practices consistently meet customer expectations and business goals
  • Champion a culture of safety and accountability - ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, company policy, and operational standards
  • Lead daily briefings and set the priorities for the shift

What You Bring
Required
  • 3+ years in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or event operations
  • 1+ years of supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team of diverse personalities.
  • Solid knowledge of routing, fleet management, and scheduling
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience with dispatch, GPS tracking, or transportation management software
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Sharp organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time management, with a track record of hitting deadlines under pressure
  • Analytical, efficient, and accurate even when things get busy
  • General computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety best practices
  • Able to stand for extended periods and sit/work at a computer for up to 4 hours per shift
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move around the facility on uneven surfaces
  • Comfortable in hot/cold climates and varying noise conditions

Nice to Have
  • Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills
  • Experience in logistics, freight, or the events/production industry.
