Description: Transportation Dispatch Manager
Job Summary: The Transportation Dispatch Manager coordinates and oversees the school district's daily transportation operations. This position ensures the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of students by managing bus routes, dispatching drivers, monitoring transportation communications, and responding to transportation issues as they arise. The Dispatch Manager serves as the primary liaison among drivers, school administration, and families regarding transportation matters.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Required, Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
Minimum of (3) years of job-related experience in working in transportation/education
Cultural competency.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in an environment where unusual temperature, noise and hazards are relatively nonexistent. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
