Job description

Teton Petroleum Transport (TPT) is currently seeking a Dispatch Supervisor. This role will manage the dispatch team. TPT delivers fuel to over 40 states for a variety of customers and industries. The Company offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

The Dispatch Supervisor will primarily be focused on:

  • Training the Dispatch Team.
  • Manage the dispatch teams schedule.
  • Building and dispatching loads through Freight Books and other systems.
  • Working with customers, accepting loads, and billing issues.
  • Work with the Terminal Managers.
  • Assist with Payroll for the Drivers.
  • Ensure loads are billed out in a timely manner through Freight Books.
  • Ensure companies safety standards are followed and promoted.
  • Ensure drivers are dispatched safely, legally, and efficiently.
  • Manage the dispatch system to ensure it is accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure companies performance goals and standards are accomplished.
  • Understand the FMCSA regulations.
  • Monitor drivers progress and communicate concerns to Terminal Manager.
  • Generate addition load opportunities to maximize daily load count.
  • Manage truck availability.
  • Assist in monitoring equipment permits and certifications to ensure they are up to date

The preferred candidate for the Dispatch Supervisor will have the following:

  • Two or more years dispatching experience.
  • Understanding of the FMCSA Regulations.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Adheres to the company's values and ethical expectations.
  • Strong customer service skills.
