Job description

Job Summary
Center City Print is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to help with customer service, order intake, blueprint printing, poster production, and general print shop support.

This role is a mix of front desk customer service and hands-on print production. The right person will be friendly, organized, comfortable using computers, and willing to learn how to operate large-format printers, scanners, and basic design software.


No advanced print experience is required, but a good attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are essential.


Responsibilities


Customer Service & Order Support

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers in a kind and professional manner.
  • Answer phones and help customers with basic printing questions.
  • Enter customer orders into our order management system.
  • Monitor incoming print and blueprint requests.
  • Communicate with customers about order details, timing, and pickup.
  • Help keep the front desk and customer areas clean and organized.


Blueprint & Print Production

  • Print, scan, copy, bind, roll, and package blueprint orders.
  • Produce posters and large-format prints.
  • Check orders for accuracy before completion.
  • Prepare finished jobs for pickup, delivery, or shipping.
  • Help maintain an organized production workflow.


File Assistance

  • Assist customers with simple file adjustments when needed.
  • Help prepare customer files for printing.
  • Use programs such as Adobe Acrobat for basic tasks.
  • Ask for help or clarification when order details are unclear.


Qualifications

  • Friendly and professional customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computers, email, and Google Sheets.
