Job description

[ Key Responsibilities ]

1. Business Management

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support business reviews for Americas-based business units to ensure strategic alignment.

  • Maintain consistent communication with affiliates to identify key issues and propose effective action plans, with a focus on the CPG (Foods, QSR & Bakery Restaurants) and Logistics sectors.

  • Provide support for monthly performance reporting and quarterly strategic business reviews.

2. Strategy & Business Development

  • Conduct in-depth market and industry analysis to identify emerging trends and actionable insights.

  • Identify and evaluate potential M&A, joint venture, and strategic partnership opportunities.

  • Contribute to the development of strategic proposals based on a deep understanding of the local market landscape.

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with investment banks, corporate networks, and industry experts.

3. Synergy & Market Intelligence

  • Promote collaboration and synergy across regional affiliates through shared initiatives and strategic planning.

  • Monitor macroeconomic and industry trends in the U.S. and report potential implications to Global Headquarters.

  • Conduct periodic competitor and benchmark analysis to provide data-driven strategic recommendations.

4. Cross-Functional & Strategic Projects

  • Work closely with the Global Headquarters to ensure seamless alignment on strategy, reporting, and project execution.

  • Support executive leadership with ad hoc assignments, special projects, and high-level investment research.

[ Requirements & Qualifications ]

  • Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, or Business Planning (Manager Level).

  • Language Skills (Critical): Fluent Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is REQUIRED.

    • Note: This position involves extensive writing and drafting of official business/strategic reports in Korean for Global HQ communication.

  • Industry Experience (Preferred): Hands-on experience or strong background in the CPG (Foods, QSR & Bakery Restaurants) or Logistics industries is highly preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Solid financial modeling, analytical, and strategic problem-solving skills; familiarity with the M&A process and deal execution.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent project management and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and handle highly confidential information with professionalism.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed (Less than 25%).

[ Preferred Qualifications ]

  • Professional experience in the entertainment, beauty, or retail industries is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Korean corporate business practices, or prior experience working within a major Korean conglomerate/multinational company.
