Description
Woundtech is currently seeking a Business Associate to join our team. The Business Associate will work directly with senior leadership, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, on strategic and operational projects related to the development and growth of our business across North America. The Business Associate will also work in cross functional teams with department heads executing on workplans in collaboration with the Business Development, Operations, Finance and HR. The Business Associate will play an important role on project teams: performing critical analyses, contributing to final recommendations, and presenting work to company leadership. As you progress in your tenure you will continue to build leadership skills and take on a significant amount of responsibility.

Job Duties
The types of activities that a Business Associate may participate in include, but are not limited to:
  • Support and or lead the creation and implementation of company strategic initiatives and channel partnership proposals
  • Work in cross-functional teams with department heads on growth-related initiatives, including projects related to business development, recruiting, and marketing activities
  • Create business roll-out plans for new service lines
  • Create, organize and run quarterly company-wide town halls
  • Support contract renegotiation strategies
  • Create presentations for various business development and corporate meetings
  • Review current Accounts Receivable strategy and recommend improvements
  • Interact directly with senior leadership on specific high priority tasks on a weekly basis
  • Develop communications, such as presentations, newsletters, memos, etc.
  • Conducting primary and secondary research on markets, competitors and customers
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of data to generate meaningful insights

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Expected start date: immediate
  • 1-3 years of investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development / strategy experience at a top-tier organization
  • Bachelor's degree required with excellent academic record from a highly respected university
  • Must have strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word with a working knowledge of business accounting fundamentals preferred
  • Strong analytical skills - able to evaluate opportunities and issues from financial, strategic, brand, and operational perspectives
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion; self-starter mindset with the ability to "manage up"
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative aptitude and exceptional research skills
  • Ability to think strategically about business opportunities
  • Good oral and written communication skills and superior attention to detail
  • Self-starter mentality; will take a hands-on approach
  • High integrity, respect and honesty - a true team player
  • Healthcare background is a plus
