Job description

DESCRIPTION
Great morning Contract Driving opportunity to pair with other 3rd party delivery jobs (Doordash, Uber, etc). The Newk'- Kennesaw Catering Delivery Driver responsibility is to deliver our amazing food to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner. We are looking for drivers to start at the beginning of the new year as catering ramps up.
Deliveries occur in the mornings Monday through Friday, generally between 9:00 am -12:00 pm. Drivers are offered a route the evening before and paid a base pick-up fee of $25 per delivery + mileage fee from the restaurant to the customer.
Drivers earn on average between $18.00-$24.00 per hour for depending on route and number of deliveries. Drivers are expected to arrive at the restaurant, check to ensure all necessary items for the order are present, and complete final assembly and loading. Typical delivery distances range that we need are 5-25 miles from the restaurant. There is some set-up required at the customer. Drivers can shift to other 3rd party driving services after delivery is complete. Ideally, we need drivers who would love to pick up a couple orders a week as fill-in when we get surges in orders.
Typical deliveries pay $18.00-$24.00 per hour as a contract worker dependent on number and distance of delivery.

  • Valid Driver's Georgia Driver's License
  • Clean, well maintained vehicle with space for catered food
  • Clean 3-year driving record
  • Proof of Liability Insurance
  • 18 years of age minimum
