Seeking an experienced Catering Sales Manager to join our growing team!


We're seeking an energetic, passionate, and sales-driven Catering Manager who will be responsible for developing existing business and soliciting new business through local store marketing, catering lead generation, and qualification. 

Restaurant Catering Sales Manager responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for booking, selling, marketing, planning, and coordinating all corporate and social events while assuring the highest level of customer service from initial proposal to final billing.
  • Generate revenue, establish new accounts, and book repeat business while keeping quality consistently high.
  • Weekly store development visits and local store marketing with each catering location utilizing the catering van for marketing exposure.
  • Conduct catering sales presentations, in person and over the phone.
  • Maintain an active tracking and follow-up system for all sales calls, visits, and presentations.
  • Ability to negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client needs
  • Maintain an open line of communication with the Chief Operations Officer and restaurant teams to ensure they are fully informed of all problems or unusual matters, allowing for prompt corrective action to be taken where appropriate.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure the quality of guest satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute projects for assigned market areas to increase catering activity, volume, and profit.
  • Respond to incoming catering opportunities and proposals within 24 hours.
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges with management. • Be accessible to clients regarding functions and identify customer requirements and expectations
  • Make follow-up calls on completed orders to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide operations support in all areas to visiting locations during operational hours.
  • Responsible for identifying, training, and developing existing and additional catering locations and team members.

Restaurant Catering Sales Manager candidates must possess:

• A High School Diploma or GED is required; a College Degree in Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management is a plus

• 3 years Catering Management/Development and Local Store Marketing experience

• Prior experience in restaurant and/or hotel operations

• Strong selling and outgoing interpersonal skills, including cold calling

• Exhibit a sales mentality

• Strong attention to detail, organized, and professional
