Summary:
At MaineHealth, our website is often the first place people turn when they or someone they love needs care. For more than 1.1 million people across Maine and New Hampshire, mainehealth.org is where a worried parent finds a pediatrician, where a new patient learns what to expect, and where our communities connect to the care and expertise of a nine-hospital health system.
You'll be part of our growing Web Strategy and Operations team, working alongside a content strategist and a technical content manager as the person who turns strategy into published, patient-ready pages. You'll develop content across the site, lead our multilingual publishing program so more of our communities can find care in their own language, and keep our content performing in search. It's work for someone who takes pride in clear, accurate content that helps people when it matters most.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Three years of digital content management experience required. Experience with healthcare content preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficiency in Office365 applications, Adobe Photoshop for compressing and resizing image files, and video conferencing platforms required. Familiarity with Screaming Frog, Slack, Google Data Studio, Zendesk, and Workfront preferred. Basic web design (infographics, charts, graphs, call-outs, etc.), search engine marketing & optimization, and AP Style guide knowledge preferred.
