Job description


  • The Vice President, Rotten Tomatoes (Content & Platform) will serve as the senior operating leader responsible for driving enterprise-level platform growth, monetization strategy, editorial direction, brand governance, and cross-functional execution across Rotten Tomatoes' web and app ecosystem.

  • The VP will oversee Editorial and consumer-facing platform performance while operating in close partnership with the Scoring & Integrity organization, which maintains authority over Tomatometer and Popcornmeter systems, moderation, critic governance, and data integrity.

  • The VP will operate as the connective tissue between Editorial, Product, Ad Sales, Content, Marketing, Finance, and Corporate Leadership - ensuring Rotten Tomatoes functions as a disciplined, revenue-driving, brand-safe, enterprise-ready digital platform.

  • This is a highly strategic and operational leadership role requiring strong business judgment, growth orientation, executive presence, and the ability to scale a trusted media brand into a habit-driven consumer platform.

Requirements

  • 12 years of digital media, platform, consumer product, or GM-level leadership experience.

  • Demonstrated revenue accountability and P&L or forecasting ownership.

  • Proven track record driving measurable app growth and retention.

  • Experience scaling a brand within a high-visibility, reputation-sensitive environment.

  • Strong operator mindset with ability to build process, dashboards, and governance frameworks.

  • Experience leading AI-enabled product initiatives, recommendation systems, or generative content workflows within a high-trust brand environment.

  • Editorial fluency with deep respect for trust, neutrality, and brand integrity.


Additional Requirements

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Compensation: $250,000 - $300,000 /year USD
