Location: New York City (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)

This is a senior leadership role focused on overseeing two major eCommerce retail accounts, serving as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, and driving continued growth of the agency's performance media business. This is not a hands-on campaign management position, but rather a leadership role centered on strategy, team management, and client partnership.

The ideal candidate will have extensive media agency experience with a deep understanding of performance media across paid search, paid social, programmatic, retail media, and other digital channels. They will be responsible for guiding client strategy, ensuring best-in-class media planning and execution through their teams, and providing executive-level counsel that helps clients achieve their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the executive lead for two large eCommerce retail clients, building trusted, long-term client relationships.
  • Oversee the agency's performance media practice, ensuring strategic excellence across all client engagements.
  • Lead, mentor, and delegate work across high-performing media teams while ensuring quality execution and client satisfaction.
  • Partner with clients to develop integrated performance media strategies that align with business goals and drive measurable results.
  • Act as the senior media expert, providing strategic recommendations and thought leadership across the performance marketing landscape.
  • Steward existing client relationships while identifying opportunities to grow accounts and bring in new business.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership to strengthen the agency's performance media offering and support continued business growth.
  • Ensure teams are delivering against client objectives, timelines, budgets, and performance goals while maintaining operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in performance media within a media agency environment.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale eCommerce or retail accounts.
  • Strong leadership background with experience managing senior teams and delegating day-to-day execution.
  • Demonstrated success growing client relationships, expanding business, and contributing to new business efforts.
  • Deep expertise across performance marketing channels and a strategic understanding of the evolving digital media landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive client management skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior media leader who enjoys building client relationships, leading high-performing teams, and driving strategic business growth while serving as a trusted advisor to marquee retail clients.
