Current Opportunity: Content Manager
Location: Canada

What you will do: 
The Content Manager is responsible for maintaining organizational content, supporting proposal development, and creating visually engaging materials that communicate complex information clearly. This role works closely with internal teams and subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, strategic, and aligned with client needs.
Key Responsibilities: 
Content Management
  • Maintain and update content within SharePoint and the internal content library.
  • Manage regular updates to product information and SME lists.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and internal teams (Legal, Finance, HR, Marketing) to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Analyze past proposals, feedback, and market trends to improve content quality and effectiveness.
Proposal Support
  • Partner with the Proposal Strategy Team to develop compelling proposal content aligned with win themes.
  • Map products and services to client needs and industry requirements.
  • Support proposal development through coordination, editing, and quality review.
Content Creation & Design
  • Write and edit clear, compelling proposal and business content.
  • Create infographics, workflows, and visual elements to enhance readability.
  • Ensure all materials align with company branding and communication standards.
AI and Automation Enablement
  • Use approved generative AI and automation tools to support drafting, editing, summarization, content classification, content retrieval, and other appropriate proposal-content activities.
  • Review and validate AI-assisted outputs for accuracy, tone, client relevance, confidentiality, compliance, and alignment with approved source content before use.
  • Identify repeatable content activities and workflows that can be automated or standardized, particularly content updates, library maintenance, QA/QC, and content reuse.
  • Collaborate with proposal, content, and automation stakeholders to test, adopt, and improve AI-enabled tools and automated workflows.
  • Maintain familiarity with evolving AI-assisted proposal and content-management practices and demonstrate the ability to learn and use new tools as they are introduced.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
  • Use Adobe InDesign to format and design proposal documents in alignment with brand guidelines and professional proposal-design standards, including layout consistency, visual hierarchy, and accessibility requirements.
  • Review and edit proposal narratives for compliance with RFP instructions, requirements, and evaluation criteria.
  • Ensure department processes, expectations, and workflows are followed internally and externally.
  • Apply editorial standards and brand guidelines to all written deliverables.
  • Support proposal leads with timely delivery of content to meet internal milestones and submission deadlines.
  • As designated, complete proposal requests and provide end-to-end proposal support.

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in content management, proposal writing, or related roles.
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using AI tools for writing, content development, and workflow automation, including effective prompting and critical review of AI-generated content.
  • Familiarity with proposal/content platforms such as QorusDocs, Loopio, Qvidian, or SharePoint preferred.
  • Knowledge of Shipley, APMP, or similar proposal methodologies preferred.
  • Excellent writing, editing, grammar, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to turn complex information into clear, persuasive, client-focused content.
  • Strong collaboration skills with proposal teams, sales, SMEs, and cross-functional partners.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on improving content quality and workflow efficiency.
