Who you are:

Geotab is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Content Marketing Coordinator Intern to support content operations and campaign execution. You are a strong communicator who enjoys balancing process and project coordination with creative work. If you are excited by technology and want to help deliver high-quality content in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

What you'll do:

As a Content Marketing Coordinator Intern, your primary responsibilities span content operations, campaign coordination and newsletter management. You will own end-to-end monthly fleet newsletter production, maintain the content resource library, support freelancer management and coordinate campaign execution across teams. You will work closely with Content Marketing, Segment and Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Marketing Automation and other internal business partners.
To be successful in this role, you must be an organized self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment and a problem-solving mindset. You can manage multiple timelines, adapt quickly when priorities shift and move projects through to completion with attention to detail.

The opportunity:
  • 8 month work-term beginning January 2027.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Fleet newsletter: Own end-to-end monthly production using the documented process and newsletter automation tool. Maintain A/B testing cadence and produce monthly performance reporting.
  • Content support: Help with content creation, including content briefs and drafts, ad and eblast copy. Help the content team assign freelancers and manage freelancer capacity.
  • Campaign support: Support content campaign execution, especially managing Jira tickets and coordinating with design and digital teams.
  • Performance reporting: Contribute to content performance reporting across newsletters and campaign assets. Surface insights and recommendations for content optimization.
  • Process and tooling: Identify and act on opportunities to improve content workflows. Operate and maintain the newsletter automation tool; flag gaps for improvement.
  • Content resource library: Audit, maintain and update the BGM Content Resource Library as content is published across segments. Ensure new assets are logged at the correct production stages.
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related post-secondary program is preferred.
  • 0-1 year of experience in marketing, digital, communications, or content creation is an asset.
  • A creative, strategic and flexible thinker, enthusiastic about learning and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively with agile squads and cross-functional teams.
  • A self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organizational, communication and project management skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong critical thinking and ability to analyze information, consider multiple perspectives and make informed decisions, crucial for effective problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of current content and digital marketing trends for editorial proofing, conversion copywriting, writing for traditional and digital marketing, e.g., AI, SEO, social media and market research methods is an asset.
  • Knowledge in analytics tools, content performance measurement and strategic decision-making based on results is an asset.
  • Technical competence using workflow tools (e.g., Wrike, Jira), software programs (e.g., Google Sheets, Docs, Slides), AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, etc.) with a willingness to learn.
