Backed by recent Series A funding, Natilus is focused on bringing its KONA prototype to first flight while building the future of aviation through innovative engineering and advanced technology. About the Role

Natilus is looking for a highly motivated and organized Business Development Intern to join our growing startup team for the summer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in startups, aerospace, operations, and business strategy to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment supporting customer growth, investor outreach, CRM operations, and business systems development.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building processes from the ground up, working cross-functionally, and helping create scalable systems that support company growth. You will work closely with company leadership to support business development initiatives, customer relationship management, investor tracking, and operational workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain CRM systems utilizing AI for customer, investor, and DoD relationship management
  • Develop and implement AI tools that support business needs and streamline processes
  • Support workflow automation, reporting, and CRM database organization
  • Track customer pipeline activity, meetings, follow-ups, and engagement metrics
  • Maintain investor relationship tracking and pipeline organization
  • Conduct market research and identify potential customers, partners, and investors
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and pipeline updates for leadership
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and tracking tools
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including leadership, engineering, and Human Resources
  • Support outbound business development and partnership outreach efforts

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in business, Marketing, IT & Systems/Management or a related field
  • MBA candidates encouraged to apply
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and startup environments
  • Interest in CRM systems, AI tools, automation, and business operations
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and workflow automation is a plus
