Vice President, Analyst Relations and Competitive Intelligence

Job Summary


The Vice President, Analyst Relations and Competitive Intelligence is a senior, strategic leadership role responsible for shaping Genesys' external market perception and strengthening our competitive advantage through deep insight and influential relationships.

Reporting to the SVP of Product Marketing, this leader will unify Analyst Relations and Competitive Intelligence into a cohesive global strategy that informs product direction, sharpens go-to-market execution, and accelerates growth. The role partners closely with product, marketing, sales, and customer success leaders to translate market intelligence into clear, actionable guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global strategy and execution forAnalystRelations (AR)and Competitive Intelligence (CI), with an integrated approach that amplifies GTM impact, market relevance, and competitive differentiation.
  • Create a unified view of the market landscape, combining analyst and competitive insights to align product strategy, marketing messaging, sales enablement, and customer success priorities.
  • Deliver high-impact competitive intelligence assets, including win and loss analysis, battlecards, SWOT analyses, and executive briefs that empower teams across the business to compete effectively and win.
  • Build a scalable intelligence framework that connects field feedback, analyst perspectives, customer insights, and market signals into cohesive, actionable guidance.
  • Lead a seasoned AR team in deepeningrelationships with top-tieranalysts (e.g., Gartner, Forrester) and driving strategic engagements that influenceperceptionand increase Genesys' visibility.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing CI team that delivers rigorous, forward-looking analysis of competitors, emerging trends, and market dynamics to guide strategic planning and field enablement.
  • Drive strategic analyst engagements, briefings, inquiries, and evaluations to influence market perception and increase Genesys visibility.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing Competitive Intelligence team focused on forward-looking analysis of competitors, trends, and market dynamics.
  • Ensure consistent, differentiated messaging across analyst reports, evaluations, and third-party engagements to reinforce our leadership in AI and CX.
  • Translate market and competitive insights into actionable input for product planning, executive decision-making, and go-to-market alignment.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and a credible external voice on Genesys' market position and competitive landscape.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, insight-driven impact, and continuous improvement across global teams.

Minimum Requirements

  • 12 or more years of experience in competitive intelligence, analyst relations, product marketing, market strategy or related roles in B2B enterprise software, ideally focused on CX orAI.
  • Proven success leading integrated Analyst Relations and Competitive Intelligence functions.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software markets, with strong exposure to AI and customer experience platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence go-to-market strategy through intelligence and analyst engagement.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and storytelling skills with executive-level presence.
  • Strong track record of shaping analyst perception and managing complex evaluations.
  • Advanced cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-oriented environment.

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$221,700.00 - $389,900.00
