TheSenior Financial Analyst is responsible for compiling the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process, working with all business functions to analyze actual results, and building accurate future expectations. This role drives significant impact by modernizing and scaling analytical and reporting capabilities through finance automation and AI.

This position reports to theFinance Director and is part of the finance department. There is a preference for candidates who can work on-site in Indianapolis, IN or Miami, Fl. While this req is posted as on-site in the US, applications from qualified candidates in other US locations will be considered equally.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Act as a Finance AI & Automation Super User, owning the design, deployment, and ongoing improvement of AI-enabled analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Perform and enhance revenue, margin, and operating profit (OP) variance analyses, identifying trends, drivers, and actionable insights.
  • Identify high-value opportunities to automate recurring finance activities, reducing manual processes and cycle times.
  • Manage and automate sales commissions reporting and analytics, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and scalability.
  • Serve as a bridge between Finance and IT/Data teams to integrate ERP, CRM, pricing, and commissions systems into automated reporting solutions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field with 5+ years experience OR Master's degree in field with 3+ years experience OR doctoral degree in field with 0-2 years experience .
  • Experience in business planning, strategic development, financial analysis, FP&A, or analytical roles.
  • Demonstrated experience with process automation, advanced Excel modeling, or BI/reporting tools.
  • High level of comfort working with large datasets across multiple systems.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, variance analysis, margin economics, and operating metrics.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience using or implementing AI-enabled analytics, automation tools, or scripting (e.g., Python, SQL, Power Query, RPA, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP, CRM, pricing, or commissions platforms.
