Job description

Department: Central Sourcing
Functions: To assist the Central Sourcing Department with delivering vehicles to designated locations.
Relationships: Reports to Vice President of Pre-Owned Vehicles and Director of Acquisitions and Logistics.
Responsibilities and Authority:
  • Responsible for driving PDI vehicles through the car wash for Paint Application, then into the Photo Lineup within Central Recon.
  • Deliver completed Front Line Ready vehicles to their respective Dealerships.
  • Deliver PBA (Public Before Auction) vehicles from Kelley Fort Wayne facilities, to the Decatur Dealership.
  • Shuttle Kelley employees to dealerships, vendors, and body shops.
  • Assist with making phone calls to other dealerships to verify that day's acquisitions are physically there, and to verify their pickup hours.
  • Assist with filling out stock tags, time sheets, filing paperwork, copies, etc.
  • Pick-up and deliver Lease Turn-Ins to the Central Recon Center.
  • Perform general clean-up duties, gas vehicles, etc.
  • Assist with application of Stock Tags and Buyer's Guides to "Sell to Kelley" acquisitions.
  • Assist Central Recon's Fixed Operations by making Parts Runs.
  • Any other tasks deemed necessary by Management.

Requirements
Qualifications:
High School diploma or the equivalent. Must be at least 21 years or older. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Must be able to handle a fast pace environment. Able to read and comprehend instructions and information. Able to use computer and telephone. Able to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors and others. Professional personal appearance. Able to lift 15 lbs.
Working Conditions:
Will work in and outdoors throughout the day. Will drive for up to eight hours per shift. Will be exposed to noise, dust, heat, cold, fumes, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. Required to stand, stoop, lift, push, pull, kneel, crouch and reach repeatedly during the shift.
