MANAGEMENT ANALYST (GXP 2026-25284):

 

Bowhead seeks a technical data Management Analyst (MA) to join our GXP Platform and Launch Contract at NSWC Crane, IN. The Management Analyst will directly support of the Guidance, Navigation, and Control. The individual must be a self-starter who can work independently but also within a team environment, with minimal supervision, and able to stay organized and multitask while meeting deadlines and assisting the program.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include: 

  • Develops and executes support acquisition vehicles or methodologies to satisfy routine and surge requirements most effectively. Evaluates and assesses commercial and organic suppliers, source qualifications, and contracting.
  • Performing work such as preparing, receiving, reviewing, and verifying documents; maintaining office records; locating and compiling data or information from files; compiling information for reports; keeping a calendar and informing others of deadlines and other important dates; and similar clerical support work within an organization.
  • Analyzes proposals received from vendors for supplies or services to determine if the purchase will be from a responsible source at a fair and reasonable price.  Performs a thorough assessment of the direct and indirect costs leading to the final price of the product or service.  Evaluates the offer's price relative to the prices being offered by other vendors and being paid by similar items.
  • Demonstrates skill in using job-relevant information systems and/or software applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, automated research tools, database applications, and the Internet.
  • Demonstrates ability to clearly and effectively articulate, present, and promote varied ideas and issues to teammates, managers, and customers. Makes clear and convincing oral presentations. Listens effectively; clarifies information as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or zero (0) to two (2) years of experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
