Is AI replacing data analysts?

AI tools are automating certain data analysis tasks, such as data cleaning and basic reporting, but the role of a part time analyst involves interpreting complex data, making strategic recommendations, and communicating insights, which require human judgment. AI is a complement to analysts' skills rather than a complete replacement, and analysts who develop expertise in data visualization, programming, and machine learning can enhance their value in the workplace.

How much do part-time data analysts make?

Part-time data analysts typically earn between $15 and $30 per hour, depending on experience, location, and industry. Salaries can vary based on skills with tools like Excel, SQL, or Python, and whether the role requires specialized knowledge or certifications.

What is a Part Time Analyst?

A Part Time Analyst is a professional who works in an analytical role but on a reduced or flexible schedule, often less than 40 hours per week. Their responsibilities can include collecting data, analyzing trends, preparing reports, and supporting decision-making processes within a company. Part Time Analysts are often employed by organizations that need specialized analysis but do not require a full-time position. This role is suitable for students, professionals seeking flexible work, or those balancing other commitments. The exact duties may vary depending on the industry and employer.

How does a Part Time Analyst typically balance multiple projects and deadlines within a limited work schedule?

Part Time Analysts often manage several projects simultaneously while working fewer hours than their full-time counterparts. Effective time management and clear communication with supervisors are crucial in prioritizing tasks and setting realistic expectations. Many teams provide flexible schedules and collaborative tools, enabling analysts to stay aligned with project goals and team members. Regular check-ins and progress updates help ensure that work is completed efficiently and that deadlines are met despite the reduced hours.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Part Time Analyst, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Analyst, you typically need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a relevant educational background such as a degree in business, finance, or a related field. Familiarity with data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel, SQL, and sometimes business intelligence platforms is usually required. Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities help you stand out in this flexible role. These skills are crucial for delivering accurate insights and supporting decision-making while effectively managing part-time responsibilities.

What jobs in the US pay 300,000 a year?

For a Part Time Analyst, earning $300,000 annually is uncommon, as such high salaries are typically associated with executive roles, specialized consulting, or senior-level positions in finance, law, or technology. Part-time roles generally do not reach this compensation level due to limited hours and responsibilities. High-paying jobs often require extensive experience, advanced skills, or full-time commitment.

This position is ideal for a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who enjoys mentoring Behavior Technicians (RBTs), being actively involved in clinic operations, and supporting high-quality ABA services โ€” without the demands of managing a full caseload or supervising a large team.

  • Instead, this role focuses on:
  • Assisting with RBT supervision and support
  • Clinical collaboration
  • Providing mentorship and guidance
  • Supporting clinic operations and additional assigned projects/tasks
  • This is a primarily in-person role due to the hands-on support needed within the clinic environment. Limited remote flexibility may be available for the right candidate after demonstrating strong performance and independence in the role.

    What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Support and assist with RBT supervision
  • Provide clinical guidance and collaboration within the ABA team
  • Assist with maintaining quality and consistency of programming
  • Participate in clinicbased support activities
  • Complete additional administrative or clinical support tasks as assigned
  • Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary team members
  • Schedule & Flexibility
  • Parttime schedule: approximately 23 days per week
  • Primarily clinicbased/inperson
  • Potential for occasional remote work flexibility based on performance and operational needs
  • Predictable scheduling and supportive work environment
  • Why BCBAs Enjoy Working Here

  • Supportive Clinical Environment
  • Strong collaboration among BCBAs, RBTs, and leadership
  • Administrative support provided
  • Teamoriented culture with approachable leadership

  • Opportunity to grow within a stable and expanding ABA program
  • Leadership development opportunities over time
  • Ability to contribute to program development and quality initiatives
  • Qualifications
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Masterโ€™s degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to provide supportive clinical guidance to RBTs
  • Experience in ABA services preferred
  • Supervisory experience welcomed but not required
  • AccessAbilities is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and ethical care.
