Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Program Assistant to join our team. The Program Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our facility and assisting clients on their journey to recovery. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals struggling with addiction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and encouragement to clients throughout their detox and residential treatment experience
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, ensuring adherence to facility policies and procedures
- Help facilitate therapeutic sessions and recreational activities
- Complete shift reports for the clinical team
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the overall effectiveness of the treatment program
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and development opportunities as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare or human services setting, particularly with individuals with substance abuse issues, is desirable but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
