Executive Chef to lead a wellness-focused organic grocer in Miami. Oversee menu, team, and kitchen with a passion for clean, seasonal food.
Qualifications- 5+ years of culinary leadership experience in upscale grocery
- Strong understanding of natural, organic, and plant-forward cuisine
- Experience managing kitchen operations, menu development, and food costing
- Proven ability to lead and develop culinary teams in high-volume environments
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Responsibilities- Oversee culinary operations for prepared foods, grab & go, hot bar, and café menu
- Lead a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and cleanliness
- Develop and update seasonal menus aligned with brand values, nutritional goals, and local sourcing initiatives
- Monitor food and labor costs, inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure profitability and efficiency
- Partner with marketing and leadership teams to drive customer engagement through food innovation and in-store experiences
- Implement and maintain compliance with all food safety, health, and regulatory requirements
