Responsibilities
  • Develop creative and appealing menus for a variety of catering events, considering client preferences and seasonal ingredients.
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to recipes.
  • Maintain strict inventory control, including ordering ingredients, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the event planning team to understand event details, client needs, and timelines.
  • Troubleshoot any kitchen-related issues that may arise during events.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef, preferably in a catering or high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong understanding of food preparation techniques, menu planning, and recipe development.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification preferred).
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision.
  • Creative flair and passion for developing innovative and delicious dishes.
