Position Summary:
Frey Lutz is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven New Business Development Sales Representative to support the continued growth of our new Delaware Valley Division. This individual will focus on developing new customer relationships, identifying commercial HVAC opportunities, and expanding Frey Lutz's presence throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, a passion for relationship-building, and the ability to connect customer needs with practical mechanical solutions. This role is heavily focused on prospecting, networking, and generating new business opportunities within the commercial and industrial market.

Essential Responsibilities:
โ€ข Identify and pursue new commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical service opportunities throughout the Delaware Valley region
โ€ข Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, facility managers, general contractors, business owners, municipalities, schools, healthcare facilities, and industrial clients
โ€ข Generate leads through cold calling, networking events, referrals, industry associations, and customer visits
โ€ข Schedule and conduct in-person meetings to introduce Frey Lutz services and capabilities
โ€ข Collaborate with estimating, service, and operations teams to develop customer solutions and proposals
โ€ข Maintain and track prospect activity, sales opportunities, and follow-up efforts within company CRM systems
โ€ข Assist with preparing presentations, proposals, and sales materials
โ€ข Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the Frey Lutz brand
โ€ข Support customer retention efforts while continuously seeking opportunities for growth and expansion
โ€ข Maintain strong knowledge of Frey Lutz services including:
  • Commercial Service
  • Preventive Maintenance Agreements
  • Equipment Replacements & Retrofits
  • Automated Temperature Controls

Qualifications:
โ€ข Previous business development, sales, account management, or outside sales experience preferred
โ€ข Experience in the HVAC, plumbing, mechanical contracting, construction, or industrial industries strongly preferred
โ€ข Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
โ€ข Ability to build trust and develop long-term customer relationships
โ€ข Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
โ€ข Comfortable with prospecting and developing new business opportunities
โ€ข Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
โ€ข Valid driver's license with ability to travel throughout the Delaware Valley territory
Preferred Skills:
โ€ข Knowledge of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems
โ€ข Existing relationships within the Delaware Valley commercial market
โ€ข Experience reading construction documents or understanding mechanical project scopes
โ€ข Ability to identify customer pain points and provide solution-focused recommendations
