Job description

AIG Security is seeking a Business Development & Inside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team.


This position will begin on a part-time basis with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance, business needs, and continued growth of the sales department.


The primary focus of this position is new business development. The representative will work directly with the Business Development Manager to identify prospective clients, conduct outbound calls and email outreach, qualify opportunities, schedule meetings, and maintain an organized sales pipeline.


We are looking for someone with prior sales or business development experience who is comfortable initiating conversations with prospective clients and communicating professionally with business owners, property managers, operations managers, facility managers, and other decision-makers.
Primary Responsibilities


  • Conduct outbound prospecting by phone and email
  • Research prospective companies and identify appropriate decision-makers
  • Introduce AIG Security and our services to prospective clients
  • Qualify potential business opportunities
  • Schedule meetings and introductory calls with qualified prospects
  • Maintain accurate prospect and activity records in the company CRM
  • Develop and maintain an organized pipeline of prospective accounts
  • Maintain communication with active prospects
  • Assist with sales materials and proposal coordination
  • Work directly with the Business Development Manager on target accounts, industries, and sales priorities


Qualifications


  • Previous sales, inside sales, business development, or outbound prospecting experience preferred
  • B2B sales experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating new business conversations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional phone presence
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience working with a CRM or sales tracking system preferred
  • Proficiency with email, online research, and standard office software
  • Ability to work independently while following an established sales process


Experience in contract security, staffing, property services, commercial real estate, construction, hospitality, or other B2B service industries is a plus.


Compensation & Growth


  • Starting Pay: $18.00–$24.00 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications.


This position will initially be part-time, with the opportunity to move into a full-time position as the sales department develops and based on individual performance.


We are building a larger business development team and are looking for someone interested in growing with the department as additional responsibilities and opportunities become available.
