Job Description:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing new client partnerships while developing long-term growth strategies within assigned markets and industries. This individual will play a key role in increasing revenue, expanding customer relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sales strategies focused on acquiring new business opportunities and expanding market share.
• Generate and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting, referrals, networking, industry events, and strategic outreach efforts.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle, including discovery meetings, solution presentations, proposal development, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Build trusted relationships with decision-makers and executive-level stakeholders across prospective client organizations.
• Evaluate client needs and recommend solutions that align with operational objectives and business goals.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through expanded service offerings and long-term account growth.
• Partner with internal departments to ensure seamless transitions from sales to implementation and ongoing client support.
• Contribute market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to support business planning and product positioning.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings to strengthen brand visibility and generate leads.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and activity reporting within CRM systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of business development, sales, or account acquisition experience in a B2B environment.
• Demonstrated success generating qualified opportunities and closing new business.
• Experience navigating complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Comfortable traveling up to 50% for customer meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.
