East River Contracting is hiring a full-time Business Development Executive to support growth across our concrete and framing divisions through strong client relationships, strategic project development, and proactive business outreach.

This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in relationship-building, enjoys fast-paced problem solving, and wants to play a direct role in helping projects and partnerships move forward. The ideal candidate is professional, driven, organized, and confident communicating with owners, developers, contractors, vendors, and field teams.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within concrete and framing markets
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, networking events, jobsite visits, and industry functions to promote company services
  • Work closely with estimating and project management teams to support bids, proposals, project pursuits, and contract reviews
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients by providing updates, maintaining communication, and supporting positive project experiences
  • Assist in resolving jobsite concerns and helping projects move forward professionally and efficiently
  • Track leads, bidding opportunities, and client activity to support ongoing business development efforts
  • Participate in sales and marketing meetings to help align company growth strategies
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, customer relations, or construction-related roles preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build lasting professional relationships and represent the company well
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Experience in construction sales, estimating support, or project coordination
  • Familiarity with reading construction plans or understanding project scopes preferred
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Valid driver’s license required
