Job Summary
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities
Cambridge Investment Research is seeking a driven and consultative Client Solutions Consultant to support and grow relationships with existing Cambridge Financial Advisors. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a relationship-focused environment and enjoys helping advisors deliver comprehensive financial solutions to their clients.
As a Client Solutions Consultant, you will act as a trusted partner-proactively identifying opportunities and recommending tailored solutions across financial planning, retirement products, and Cambridge Source offerings.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing Cambridge Financial Advisors to support their business growth
  • Proactively identify client needs and recommend solutions across:
    • Financial planning strategies
    • Retirement solutions
    • Cambridge Source offerings
  • Drive adoption and utilization of Cambridge products and platforms
  • Conduct consultative outreach (phone, virtual, and in-person) to educate advisors on available solutions
  • Collaborate with internal partners to deliver a seamless advisor experience
  • Stay current on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory considerations
  • Travel up to 25% to meet with advisors and attend events as needed

What We Are Looking For
  • Proven experience in sales, relationship management, or financial services consulting
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning and retirement products
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult with clients in a sales-driven environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • FINRA licenses (e.g., Series 7, 63/65 or 66) preferred or willingness to obtain within first year of employment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

Location: Phoenix, AZ or Fairfield, IA - Hybrid in-office 3 days/week
Salary Range: $75-85,000/year + bonus
