Automotive Assistant Controller / Accounting Manager

Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000+ per year based on experience

A growing automotive group is seeking an experienced Automotive Assistant Controller / Accounting Manager to join our leadership team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dealership accounting professional looking to take the next step in their career with a growing organization. The ideal candidate will have automotive accounting experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end and year-end financial statement preparation
• Maintain and reconcile accounting schedules and general ledger accounts
• Review and process dealership transactions for accuracy
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory accounting
• Assist with payroll and commission processing
• Reconcile floorplan and vehicle inventory accounts
• Maintain manufacturer receivables and warranty schedules
• Support internal controls and accounting process improvements
• Assist with audits and financial reporting requirements
• Work closely with dealership leadership on financial analysis and operational reporting

Qualifications:

• Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred
