Job description

Dynamic Sealing Technologies (DSTI), a global manufacturer of custom fluid sealing solutions, is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our growing team in Andover, MN. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement across the accounting function.

What You'll Do

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple sites
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
  • Partner with internal and external auditors
  • Identify and implement accounting process improvements
  • Support ERP and accounting system enhancements

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting preferred)
  • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Manufacturing and/or multi-site accounting experience preferred
  • CPA or CMA preferred (or in progress)
  • ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
