Overview

Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant - Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of accounting functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to manage financial reporting, accounting processes, and support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience across multiple accounting disciplines, financial reporting standards, compliance procedures, and accounting systems. This position plays a critical role in maintaining financial transparency and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Manage general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely transactions and policy compliance.

  • Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and applicable regulatory standards.

  • Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning initiatives.

  • Maintain internal controls and assist with audit procedures to safeguard organizational assets and improve operational efficiency.

  • Manage cash flow activities, including forecasting, bank reconciliations, and banking relationships.

  • Support payroll processing, compliance reporting, and accounting system administration.
